• —.Position Summary This position will have field construction accountability for the successful execution of Power Grid Operations (PGO) construction, maintenance, and restoration activities. The position will report to the Manager of Construction Management who will provide general guidance and oversight. This position will have responsibility for construction management during all phases of moderately complex projects.
• —Manage the execution of PGO work plan in accordance with the appropriate Scope and Method of payment while maintaining financial stewardship.
• —Ensure the efficient utilization of contractor resources to meet the work plan. This position works to ensure customer and company project goals are met while working with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• —This position will serve as the single point of contact for all PGO contractors. This could include all phases of the project lifecycle from development through construction activities to assure the project is built per Duke Energy’s specifications and standards. • —Assist the project team with construction outage sequence plan and resource strategy during bids and pricing portal events.
• —Provide input during the change order review process by validating the need and cost estimate for requested changes. Align all construction activities to meet outage and project schedules.
